Hi, I’m Sittal Aryal.
I’m an electrical engineer working at the intersection of BIM, construction, and automation — helping teams design better, coordinate faster, and eliminate the tedious work that drains time from every project.
I started in electrical design and MEP coordination, where I saw firsthand how much time gets lost to manual processes. The same clash checks run over and over. The same data gets re-entered into three different places. The same spreadsheet gets updated by hand when Revit already has the answer.
So I started automating those things. Dynamo graphs turned into Python scripts. Python scripts turned into pyRevit tools. And pretty soon I was spending less time on the repetitive stuff and more time solving actual problems — power distribution design, coordination, and the studies that keep a system safe and compliant. Now I help other teams do the same.
What I Believe
Automation isn’t about replacing people. It’s about removing the boring parts so skilled professionals can focus on what they’re actually good at.
Good BIM is usable BIM. A model that’s overbuilt to LOD 500 for no reason is just as bad as one that’s underbuilt. The right level of detail depends on what the model needs to do.
Teams should own their tools. The best automations are the ones the team understands and can maintain themselves. I build with that principle — everything I create is documented and transferable.
